Rules

Each competitor has 15 minutes to complete the fade and will be judged and scored on the following: precision, level of difficulty, sanitation, and total look.

  • Speed and finished product

  • All 15 minutes can be used to produce the best quality haircut

  • Model must have at least a #2 guard length or longer before the competition begins

  • Longer hair and scissor techniques are welcome

    NOTE: Points will be deducted if you are not fully prepared

Rules

  • 60 minutes to complete a full-head braid design

  • Must use PureO “Neatbraid” ONLY

  • No outside gels, sprays, or oils permitted

  • Must complete a full-head braid design

  • Accessories allowed: Accessories (beads, cuffs, bands,wraps)

  • No added hair extensions

Judges Will Evaluate

  • Precision of parting and sectioning

  • Cleanliness of braid execution

  • Consistency across the entire head

  • Control of technique and tension

  • Overall presentation and design
